About Riu Ocho Rios. Set right on the beach, Riu Ocho Rios is a lively, family-friendly resort on Jamaica’s north coast, made for a worry-free celebration. With 24-hour all-inclusive service, relaxing by the sea, entertainment for every age and great food and drinks are always close at hand.
The resort sits on Mammee Bay, a long stretch of white sand with clear, calm water. By day you can lounge on the beach or by the pools, take on the Splash Water World water park, join a sports activity or fitness class, or unwind at the spa. In the evening, enjoy themed dinners, live shows and RIU Party. Younger guests have their own program at RIU Land. Dunn’s River Falls and other island favorites are nearby, and excursions can be booked at the resort’s tour desk.

Minimum occupancy: 3 adults + 1 child, or 4 adults. Larger groups are welcome.

Payment information

- Final payment due: October 1, 2027
- Deposit: $100 per room or the cost of travel protection
- Payment plan: available on request before your deposit. Add a note when you book. A credit review is required.
Flights & airport transfers
Flights are not included. Book directly with the airline about 6–3 months before departure, to Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay (MBJ). Then email your flight details to diana@wishtowandertravel.com so the transfer company can prepare for your arrival. Shared and private transfers can be selected while booking.
General policies
Check-in: The resort requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit at check-in for incidentals; this places a hold on your funds.
Important travel information
- Every traveler needs a valid passport. If you don’t have one, apply as soon as possible, as the process can take months. Apply here.
- Your passport should not expire within 6 months after your travel dates. Airlines can deny boarding even if your passport is technically still valid.
