About Barcelo Maya:

The Barceló Maya Palace Family Friendly resort is located along one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mexican Caribbean which extends 1.25 miles through the heart of the Riviera Maya.

The All Inclusive resort has 6 restaurants, all with a view of the Caribbean Sea. Buffet and à la carte restaurants specialising in Brazilian, French and Caribbean food (seafood) among other global cuisines. Everything falls under the Barceló All Inclusive program and is of exclusive use for the guests of this hotel.

The excellent facilities of the complex include 3 spectacular pools, one for adults only and one water park for kids. It has a fitness studio, shopping centre, U-Spa, a U-Kids Spa and a miniclub. Sports enthusiasts can train in the sea or in the special sports areas. At night, you can enjoy a magnificent range of leisure and entertainment options.

Enjoy the flavors of the world on a gastronomic tour through its buffet restaurant and its 4 specialty restaurants: Sapporo Nikkei Experience, with Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine; Dolce Vita, with Italian specialties; La Comedie, specializing in French cuisine; and Agave, perfect for savoring Mexican cuisine and an authentic taqueria.  

The excellent facilities of this all-inclusive resort offer the infinity pool , the largest in the Riviera Maya, a place that makes guests experience maximum pleasure and merges with the spectacular turquoise tones of the Caribbean Sea. In addition, it has 2 bars at the pool and a Music Bar, which offers live DJ music and a wide variety of cocktails. For those looking for something more laid back, the Pool Bar is ideal for sipping on a delicious cocktail in front of the sea. All of these areas have sun loungers in the middle of the pool.

How to Book Your Reservation:

To take care of all your travel plans, we have been working closely with a travel agency that specializes in destination weddings, Wish To Wander Travel. With their help, we have reserved a block of rooms with special group rates at the resort.

We ask that you book your stay directly from this site as all rooms must be booked within our room block. 

In order to take advantage of the discounted pricing, all guests must have their reservations for the hotel made by August 1, 2023 and paid in full by August 1, 2023

We are currently holding rooms at Barcelo Maya Palace and Riviera from October 26th, 2023 - Octover 30th, 2023; however, you may book any dates you wish through this website (if we are not holding the room, our travel agent will request it be added to our group).   Note, there is a 3-night minimum stay required by the resort. All guests must be staying at the resort in order to attend the wedding.

We are currently holding inventory in the following room categories. After you looked at the room categories you can price and book your room by clicking the “Book Now, Get Price” button. GENERAL POLICIES:

Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.

Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.

Hotel Spring Break Policy - This hotel cannot guarantee a spring break-free environment.

PRICE MATCHING

In today’s internet age, we all know that some people will be tempted to scour the internet in search for a better deal than what our travel agent can provide, however please note that Funjet Vacations offers to look at lower rates that you find and match them, so in the very rare instance that you do think you have found a better deal, please submit your reservation as normal, and in the special requests / notes field, please let us know where you found a better rate. We may require a e-mailed screen shot of the offer, and we will send this information to the price match team.

It is important that your booking still be made with the group so that it will still count towards our group.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION:

1. Every person traveling will need a valid passport. If you do not have a passport, you should apply for one ASAP as the process can take months. Find more info here: https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports/apply.html

2. Your passport should not expire within 6 months AFTER travel! Even though your passport may be valid, the airline can deny you boarding if your passport expires within 6 months AFTER travel. Do not risk it, renew if you are due!
